The first piece of plane debris, a wing part of an aircraft suspected to be that of MH370 which has been missing since March last year was found on Wednesday and has been confirmed by Malaysia's Transport Minister as being part of a Boeing 777 aircraft which is same type of aircraft of the missing MH370.
"This has been verified by French authorities together with aircraft manufacturer Boeing" Liow Tiong Lai said on Sunday.
Malaysian Transport Ministry following these recent discoveries says it wants to expand search for more debris around Reunion.
Investigators who will begin their work on Wednesday will determine if the pieces of aircraft found belong to MH370.
The second piece found in Reunion originally thought to be the door of a plane has been confirmed to be a domestic ladder not part of a plane.
